Think about the things that you want and need to do that doesn’t require you to be indoors, brainstorm and write them down and once you down that tweak the list and put them in priority. Put the list with your planner and on the next rainy day refer to this list.
Here are a few items to consider for your list:
- Try a new recipe
- Cook your favorite meal
- Bake a cake or cookies or pie or muffins or all the four
- Make your favorite meal
- Make a big Sunday Dinner (no matter what day it is)
- Clean and organize your home – don’t try to clean the entire home unless you want to but do a room or two at a time and for the next rainy day clean another room or two until you have cleaned our entire home
- Clean your closet
- Clean your Junk Drawer use space containers
- Create your meal plan for the month and beyond (be sure to date it)
- Read a book
- Update your planner
- Watch a movie at home or at a theatre
- Do laundry
- Fold the previous laundry (if you haven’t done this already)
- Make a list of what you need to go shopping for either food, clothing, home, etc (you can save the shopping for the next rainy day)
- Go Shopping
- Create a 2020 Bucket List
- Complete a crossroad puzzle
- Binge watch a TV series new or old (I have been Binge Watching The Commish every free chance I get, let’s just say this tv show is so old that the cell phone were HUGE)
- Use this Rainy Day to plan for the next Rainy Day 😊
- Take the day to just RELAX
Rainy Days happens a lot during the Spring Season, April Showers bring May flowers and the best way to plan ahead for a Rainy Day is to create plan and keep it in your planner for the next Rainy Day even if the Rainy Day isn’t in the Spring Season. So, as you complete the current Rainy Day plan use the non-completed items as the basis for the next Rainy Day plan, make sense?
For me Rainy Days is cooking my favorite meal, baking, or simply just relaxing and watching several movies or binge watch a series. What are your Rainy Day Activities add them to your list and create a plan; have a happy Rainy Day.
