Maid/Matron of Honor
Your sounding board for the entire wedding planning process
Shoulder to cry on when you need it.
Helps you with addressing and stuffing envelopes (groom can help also)
Keeps a gift record at the shower
Arranges bridal shower
Help with decorating that is needed (rehearsal dinner, church, reception hall)
Assist with putting together wedding favors
Pays for her own wedding attire
Arrange the bride’s train and veil, holds bride’s flower bouquet at the alter
Hold the groom’s ring until the appropriate point in the ceremony
Signs wedding certificate
Stands in receiving line
Helps the bride change her clothes after the reception
Takes charge of the brides gown after the wedding
Bridesmaids
Pay for their wedding attire
Help with the bridal shower
Help with decorating that is needed (rehearsal dinner, church, reception hall)

Help dress the bride before the ceremony
Stand in the receiving line
Best Man
Organizes the bachelor party
Rents or purchases his own wedding attire (formal wear)
Drives the groom to the ceremony
Hold the brides ring until the appropriate time in the ceremony
Gives payment check to the officiant either just before or after the ceremony
Returns grooms attire (if rented)
Ushers/Groomsmen
Rent or purchase their wedding attire (formal wear)
Arrive at the wedding location early to assist with set-up
Escorts guest to their seats
Roll out aisle runner before the wedding processional
Flower Girl
Walks down the aisle just before the Maid/Matron of Honor
Tosses flower petals down the aisle
Can be more than one flower girl, they walk down the aisle together.
Ring Bearer
The ring bearer precedes the flower girl in the procession
The ring bearer carries bride and groom’s ring down the aisle (best man and maid/matron of honor have actual rings)
Father Of The Bride
Proudly walks his daughter down the aisle
Mother Of The Bride
May help bride choose her wedding gown
Coordinates her own attire for the wedding ceremony
Works with groom’s family to assemble a guest list and seating plan
Stands at the beginning of the receiving line
Provides emotional support to the bride.
